Erin Saldin grew up in Idaho. She worked as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Togo, West Africa and a bartender in New York City before attending graduate school. She now lives with her family in Missoula, Montana,      where she is a Lecturer in the College of Arts and Sciences and the Davidson Honors College at the University of Montana.
